Two day blurr

This could be you and it should be

I really wanted to blog about the three day keg after each day. But i couldn't get to a computer Tuesday and Wednesday i reluctantly had to trudge back to work after a glorious three days with an outside living room. I can report that it was vintage Kyle, Braden and JP moment after moment. Every Eagle would have been proud of what we accomplish even if it was only accomplishing being lazy outside we did it in a Eagle way.

I will ties up some loose ends now

El Dora is coming up if you are attending please call me soon, I'm making reservation soon. I know Rott, Braden, and Myself will be there. Kyle has to miss because of a wedding. Braden and I took Friday off our respected jobs and will be spending all day Friday as well basking in the summer glow of El Dora Weekend. Hope many can make it.

Flag football is rounding up nicely We have a squad made up of half eagle members and half non members, Scottie myself and Kyle have paid our 30$ dollars for the registration and t-shirts. It's the weekend of July 21. I hope we can get one more practice in before then.

Spurs in Four, so my brain was right and my heart was off. And more than likely will be when a Cleveland team is involved. It's happened before and it will happen again. My biggest moment in the NBA was Seeing Larry Johnson hit that shot against the Pacers in 99 seasons because it got me hooked on the NBA, but this year's regular season and playoffs have made me a junkie as I'm already counting down the days for the draft, seeing if KG Kobe, Jermaine, Randolph get traded. I would like to thank every one for reading all my crap about the NBA.

Sorry the Kyle look alike contest as been on hold, just so much to talk about now a days. but i will bring it back shortly.

Just a reminder that the next Eagle Meeting will be at El Dora Iowa hope all can make it. There has been some question to whether or not Girls/girlfriends/wives are allowed to attend. This is one Eagle meeting were the more the merrier. Any Eagle bringing female whether attached or unattached is encouraged and if the female you want to bring has single attractive females she wants to bring along for company it is welcome as well.

Other than that nothing really to report. Hope all is well where your wings have you flying

every thing is a work in progress.

The Three Day Keg; Day One (Paradise realized)

Most of you know, i have a weird work schedule now, working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday full time. Giving me a three day weekend every week, which is nice. But the trade of not having free time to hang with friends on the weekends, because who wants to get blitzed on shots Monday night is a bummer. It has fattened my bank account, for some odd reason i don't get out 50$ for the weekend, wake up Saturday Morning with a headache an an empty wallet. (Not that Kyle, Braden haven't given me their fair shares of Monday nights) Its just not a normal thing to be out doing stuff on Monday, and Tuesday. People tend to recharge and hang low on those days. In my never ending search to find little ways to make my life entertaining in a dry humor sense of way.
I went to my go to guys and purposed an Idea(a big enough to capitalize), a dream of mine to make my Sunday, Monday, Tuesday off just a little more special. I asked the boys what if we got a keg Saturday, and just drank off it for the next three days. Of coarse the idea of having a beer a few feet away for three days aroused both of them from their slumbers. I said let's take if a step further, let's dig a hole out side in the old tractor tire in our yard and drop the keg in their, for insulation purposes, get some tiki torches, drag out the coffee table and a couch, fix the television into the window, and grill out Sunday, and have an after work party Monday and Tuesday when you guys get off work. They agreed. I went to work on Friday leaving my 60$ for the three day keg with thoughts of returning everything almost ready to go , because Braden and Kyle have been known to not get stuff done on time. Saturday at work rolls by quickly as I think about plopping down on a couch outside in beautiful night time weather sipping on a beer.
I pull up to the house and see a circle of tiki torches lite dancing on the night time sky and I can only think of the line "is this Heaven? No Iowa." Braden had worked all day to dig the hole for the keg while Kyle ran and got supplies. The Computer speakers where in the Window and Jack Johnson was coming through, The TV was sure enough in the window ready for viewing, the guys went one step further adding blankets to the ground, our out door living room was set.
It was late by the time the keg got tapped and we were four strong Braden, Kyle, Ben(a co-worker) and Myself. We played hockey and drank until the wee hours of the night. Braden then got the idea to grab his futon mattress and sleep under the stars. He wakes up at a seven a to man walking his asking "if it was a rough night." Braden slips in side to sleep some more. Ben and I wake up and have our first beer at 10:05. We pop in the Departed DVD. Enjoy a great movie over a morning Beer. We get hungry around 11:00 and head for the Chinese buffet walking because I have a goal of not getting into my car until Monday when I go the pool to volunteer to swim with the little kids. It was the worst Chinese food created. We invite the neighbor guy over who's stuck painting his house with the wife all day.
Around 2 our 90 year old neighbor pulls up with groceries bags. She can only take on at a time and walks at the pace on a 100 yards an hour. Being the gentleman we are we jump into action and go help her carry her bags in for her. While we all felt pride in helping her we all position ourselves to not be the last one out knowing full well she's going to try to talk our ear off. Kyle ends up being the last one out. Staying an extra 10 minutes chatting with her. We buy three lemonades of kids down the street for .25 cents.
We drink until around 430 when we head for the park for a little whiffle ball. Just a scrimmage no effect on the standings in the EL Orchard. Even throw in a little home run derby. BY now we are up to seven guys, but it dwindles to four after whiffle ball with the three amigos and my boss Steven. Kyle goes and gets the grill ready and we realize Grilling and Beer are the only things that get him motivated. He hopped right up, ran to the store got all the supplies comes back, makes almost all the food, but if you ask the man to take out the trash, answer his cell phone or interact with a female around his age he shuts down and falls back asleep. We nestle in with beer for the Cubs game and Cavs game. Lebron picks up second foul three minutes game, game over. The Cubs blow the lead in the eightth. We end up arguing over how Great Emmit Smith was, How great Barry Sanders was, Payton vs Manning and how annoying Hawk eye fans are. We decided it's funny to think Tom Brady is Gay. around midnight everyone call it a night with Braden and Steven sleeping under the stars. You can expect an Update on how day two went tomorrow. And yes this little adventure of ours ranks right up there with the ball pit an the whiffle ball field.
Till tomorrow JP letting everyone know it's still a work in progress, and don't be a squirrel and pack your nuts away fro winter, share them with the world.
