Who's ready to fly?

El Dora is in the books for 2007. It was a great time with five eagles in attendance, East Coast Rott, Scottie Don't, Jim, Braden "Construction Hat" Yauk, and myself. I wish i could recount all the stories, jokes, and moments that make El Dora the best kept secret around, but too much drinking, not enough sleep, and just too much information to recount to make all the inside jokes understandable. Just know the Eagles where represented well.

On to the Flying Eagles Flag football team. We are registered, and ready to rock and roll over the competition at Ames. I'll be getting the schedule seven days before the tournament and i will let everyone know when we play. Right now the main goal is keep up your training, and get to me the Jersey number you want and what you want on the back of the Jersey. We had to field the team with eagle and non eagle members but we will play with the ideals of eagles. We will be donning blue shorts as close to the color of the hats as possible, and yellow shirts with blue lettering. Kyle and I have also purchased knee high golden yellow socks ( more yellow than golden) And are hoping everyone will don some yellow socks and join in on some sort of crazy facial hair to complete the outfit. I have a nice idea for my face.

The roster is
John Derryberry
Braden Yauk
Kyle Johnson
Zach Letzring
Scottie Don't
Marcus Thie who will be in and out tournament because of new job training.
Steven Seufferlien My Boss
Nick Shannanon My co-worker
Ben Killion Braden and Kyle's co-worker and friend
Mike Mullinex friend of mine
Jay Bowers Friend of Mine
Albert who has a long and hard last name to pronounce and write, friend of mine

That's the squad trying to oop d oop there way to Colorado Springs 2009. That's right if you didn't know the winner of this tournament gets a spot in the national games in Colorado Springs 2009. So keep your eyes on the prize Eagles cause we gonna fly high

John Paul, saying let's not pack our nuts away for winter, but share them and score all the touch downs we need.
