Suns vs San Antonio: The NBA struggles to get fans with the East being so bad, the cost of games being so much, and a bunch of other reasons. That's why the series was so important, it was entertaining, it was two great teams fighting, punching, willing their way for a shot at a title. This series single handily could have added thousands of NBA basketball fans. I had a friend up visiting and he was getting won over through out game four, and said he would watch the rest of this because these guys were good. Once the suspensions were handed out he said I'm done watching that series, that doesn't make since to penalize the team more that didn't even start the fight. So Series in my mind will always be what could have been, Suns in 6 or 7, Spurs in 6 or 7, possible one to greatest series ever, maybe the spark to a playoff rivalry for the next couple of seasons. You can hash out whether it was right, wrong, fair, unfair, and to be honest almost every opinion will be half right, We got cheated out of one of the all-time series, and I'll always think back to this playoffs and remember first the suspensions , then Golden state's upset and then who hosted the trophy. Utah vs Golden State : I hate the guy for sticking to Cleveland. i just think about how we would be getting ready to demolish Detroit with him in our line-up in stead on Drew Goodedn and I will never root for Boozer in my life, heck i might forbid anyone rooting for him in my presence but the guy can play basketball. AK-47 realized he can actually play basketball pretty good. Golden State their great assist and their greatest weakness, themselves. Everything that caused the upset of Dallas, worked against them here. I think this was a one time thing, they caught magic in a bottle and had their chances.
Detroit vs Bulls. Detroit is like the Spurs of the East, their good, their consistence, and they always seem to lose a couple games a series because their just a notch below great. I think with the Suns out they have a chance if they advance in the Finals because they are built to play teams like Utah and the Spurs. Chicago seems to be one player short of being Detroit and team of solid players with a couple of all stars with no super star that can beat everyone because collectively their whole is better, ot Deng is going to have to make the leap to super star for them to topple the East anytime soon.
Cleveland Nets: Kudos to Lebron for figuring out how to mail in two games in a playoff series and sill win. This guy in unbelievable went up 2-0 then said whatever for game three, went up 3-1 said whatever for game five ( i know his G/F got sick but he didn't really care about the game) then game 6 says it's time for New Jersey to go home. It's weird, frustrating, and some what unbelievable that a 22 year old is good enough to take games off in the playoffs and still advance, but oh so dumb to not realize he should be 8-0 with a ton of confidence heading into Detroit that his team could be feeding off of. The Nets have to blow this thing up. They Kidd, Carter, Jefferson isn't going to cut it. If they can't beat a team who's best player doesn't try sometimes, then it's not going to Happen
I think the Spurs win in 5 and the Cavs in 7 . San Antonio will drop one in Utah. Boozer's great but Duncan can play defense. If Lebron has been saving himself to start dropping 40 points a game, and tossing out triple doubles left and right. Now's the time Bron Bron. Detroit has shown that a low post game that can match theirs which Cleveland can and one super star can turn the side to the other team Lebron. Miami did it last with Shaq and Wade. Now Shaq is mile better than big Z and Gooden but Detroit replace Big Ben with Chris Webber Cavs Win.
