from the baclony

no longer do i have a porch so i guess from the porch is out, but the place i live now is on the second floor. The down stairs has a porch and the roof of that porch serves as the second floor porch, but is is really a porch if it's on the second floor. PLus it's way cooler to say Balcony than porch. I don't know that answer. The first pages from the whale's log are shaping up nicely especially with your guys comments, the golf game definielty in and scottie your right don't have a clue how that perfume line didn't get in the first draft, trust me that's already fixed. the first ten or so pages will hopefully be up over the weekend. since my life right now consists of talking to people about my book, a job search going no where, writing, watching an enormously large television and talking to Coty about random things at night time. Braden is now a member of the TNC and Lido's club, completing the task over his weekend visit to Ohio. He siad he might even come back, wathc out Marcus he said he was trying to bring you. Let's hope Braden will grace us with a nice little blog about his experiences in Ohio, it's always better to get an outsiders view. Other than that i have nothing much to say but i say that it was about a week since their was a new post and wanted to keep this new movement of blogs and comments rolling.

every thing is a work in progress (Especially the Browns)

So how are you going to let us see the 10 pages Might i suggest a yousendit link a website that hosts files for 7 days. Because putting the whole kit and kabootle on here would be a bit crazy.
Also i just noticed the profile change and was wondering if turning it into a Flying eagles blog would be a bad idea or a good idea. Let me know and i'll add some new graphics and change the color scheme a little bit. Otherwise we can leave it as it is. Who knows.

RULE #8: "Win or Lose, we STIll booze!"

It seems like everyone is kind of pushing for a little shot out at some point in the book, which, in all honesty would be kind of cool as a salute to the bonds that have all been formed in the past few years. personally, i think the whiffleball games were pretty significant, as well as the TUD shows.
If Cotton Fields so chooses, i think a good way to incorporate some of these stories would be towards the end, where the gang of boys are considering staying in California. they could all be sitting on the beach drinking and bringing up all of the good times that they would be leaving behind. they could reminice of bowling, playing at the bars, el orchard.

i know that its hard as a writer to decide who to include and who to leave out, so i dont think anyone is trying to sweet talk their way into the plot. however, a chapter about what the characters are leaving behind might add to the story, in the fact that it will show that the boys have a difficult decision in staying out in Cali, showing that there was more to back home than living in a crowded basement with a jerk upstairs.
